VAT – Declaration regarding the special scheme for small retailers

Following the publication of Decree-Law no. 49/2025 of 27 March, which introduced several tax simplification measures, an amendment was made to Article 67 of the Portuguese VAT Code (Declarative and payment obligations of small retailers). As a result of this amendment, a new tax return form relating to the special scheme for small retailers and the respective completion instructions were approved.
